Dennis Ye | Founder & CEO
Before founding seer., Dennis worked in research and innovation for the public and private sectors. Dennis was also working for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Princeton University, JFDI.Asia, and Re.A.Pra. In a previous incarnation, he started corporate life at the world’s leading central bank and foreign service. Jiamin Bai | Founding Technical Advisor
Jiamin has been working on Computer Vision / Graphics over last 12 years. His thesis focuses on manipulating motions in videos, either to emphasize them or de-emphasize them. After graduating from UC Berkeley (PhD), he joined Light, a computational imaging startup looking to re-imagine how cameras should operate. He led the pixel processing team and is intimately familiar with the imaging pipeline. The computational imaging team shipped 2 products, the Light L16, the world’s first multi-aperture computational camera, and the Nokia Pureview 9. He currently works at the Institute for Infocomm Research in the Visual Intelligence department within the Spatial Computing group. His work focuses on reconstructing a digital twin for very large spaces using a high number of cameras.
Ying Chong Sim | Head of Software
Ying Chong is a full stack developer with more than 5 years of experience. No stranger to wearing many hats, his experiences also extends to other spectrum of web development such as DevOps and project management. Before Reality Detector, He worked in an agency environment where he collaborated with clients, ranging from MNCs to startups and bring their ideas to reality.
Anmol Dua | Lead CV Engineer
Anmol is an experienced Research & Development Engineer who loves to solve deep tech problems related to Computer Vision. Earlier to Reality Detector, He worked in Deep Learning Department of Mando Corp. to solve complex problems related to Autonomous Driving.
He also contributed in product development of fast growing startups like Clearquote (Vehicle inspections and damage assessment), Zini.ai (Medical Assessment Chatbot), Procol (Procurement Protocol)
Shahruj Rashid | Head of Product
Shahruj holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore where he specialized in IoT and Data analytics. He finds great enjoyment in learning about technology and using them to develop novel things and solve problems. His other passion lies in making and watching films, especially detective thrillers. At reality detector, he hopes to put both his passions together by building an effective system and capturing real emotions
Keefe Lim | Finance Lead
Pursuing a liberal arts degree at Yale-NUS, Keefe blends the soft skills of his education with the rigour of financial analysis. Formerly a public servant and a financial consultant, Keefe has led multiple projects and grants. As the Director of External Affairs of the Yale-NUS investment club, he educates the community about financial freedom and how to stay invested. Keefe is also a FACS coder certified by the Paul Ekman Group.
In his free time, Keefe finds joy in staying active and also doing photography. His passion is to travel the world and create an album of all the places he’s been to to encapsulate the diverse beauty.
